The Sandy Park Inn is perfectly placed to enjoy the whole of Dartmoor's stunning countryside

Chagford has a fascinating flea market each Friday morning....
with all manner of interesting bargains to be found.
Home made cakes, plant stall and bric a brac. 10 to 1p.m. It's 5 minutes
away in the car, or a most pleasant 30 minute walk along the beautiful
River Teign. Catch the country bus back if you wish.
For Children
Just a short drive from the pub you will find the Miniature Pony Centre at Moretonhampstead. With plenty to do
for a whole day. Help feed the ponies and donkeys, play on the climbing wall or the zip wire, drive a mini tractor for
tots, stroke a mouse, watch a falconry display, let Mum and Dad have a cream tea.

Flyfishing
The Sandy Park Inn is a two minute walk away from the River Teign, probably some of the best wild brown trout
fishing in Devon. From the beginner to the most accomplished fly fisherman, the Teign will set you challenges
unlike any other. We have excellent ghillies in the area to call upon who can offer guidance, tuition and equipment.

Clay Target Shooting The Sandy Park is able to offer Clay Shooting on Mardon Down which is a spectacular setting within a

Pheasant Shooting We have organised an extremely good Pheasant shoot at a local estate, which is happy to
